Acis autumnalis var oporantha
-Exquisite bulb bearing small white bell shaped flowers with yellow stamens. Plants sometimes flower without leaves. Summer aestivation.
-Ideal in rockery or alpine garden, can be pan grown.
-Flowers late summer. Height 6"/15cm, will spread to provide large clumps.
-Best in partial shade, but it tolerates sun in our garden.
- This plant used to be classified in genus Leucojum, but is now in Acis.
- Our plant was originally sourced as A.a. var. oporantha, although this is no longer considered to be a separate variety.
- It is smaller than the plant we grow as Acis autumnalis and the base of the petals is flushed deep pink.
- Unlike A. autumnalis, which readily seeds itself, this plant has not been observed to set seed over a five year period.

Allium cyathophorum
-Attractive dwarf allium originating fro the high mountains of Western China.
-Loose umbels of deep violet-pink flowers over grassy leaves.
-Ideal plant for trough or gravel garden.
-Flowers May-June, Height to 6”/15cm.

Allium falcifolium
Scythe leaf onion
-Low growing alpine species, native to North America.
-Deep pink-purple flowers over prostrate scythe like leaves.
-Plant in rock or alpine garden or sunny scree.
-Flowers May-June, Height 4”/10cm.

Allium flavum nanum
-Dwarf form of Allium flavum with cylindrical leaves and vibrant yellow flowers.
-Height 12-15cm/ 5-6".
-Summer flowering.

Allium karataviense - Ivory Queen
-White form of Allium Karataviense, bearing dense white flower umbels over broad blue-green leaves, with metallic sheen.
-Ideal plant for rock garden or front of border.
-Flowers May –June, Height 6-8”/15-17cm. Leaves die back after flowering.

Allium karataviense AGM
-Small drumstick allium which comes from rocky hills and screes in Turkey, Iran and Central Asia
-Striking deep reddish green leaves with red margins, and light purple-pink flowers in dense umbel.
-Ideal plant for rock garden or front of border.
-Flowers May –June, Height 6-8/15-17cm”. Leaves die back after flowering.

Allium nevskianum
- Superb fragrant dwarf cultivar from the mountainous regions os Afghanistan and Tadjikistan
- Resembles A.karataviense, but with deeper coloured and more dramatic blooms.

Allium senescens
German Garlic
-Small allium native to mountains of Europe, Siberia, China and Korea.
-Plant bears small globes of soft lavender pink flowers over curly grey-green foliage.
-Ideal for rock garden or front of border.
-Flowers September, Height 8”/20cm.

Habranthus tubispathus
- Exquisite rare plant native of Argentina
- Copper coloured buds open to strong orange yellow flowers produced in July/September especially when plant is watered after a dry spell

- Ideal for pot growing in well drained soil in sunny spot, overwinter in cold greenhouse

Ledebouria cooperi
-Rare South African Bulb producing unusual pink flowers over striped foliage.
-Height 3"/7cm tall, spring flowering.
-Ideal for growing in a pot or pan. Some shade will be appreciated during the summer.
-Needs winter protection as not hardy. Best taken into either a cold greenhouse or a cool spot in your home for winter.
